Player Impact and the Distribution of Impact across a team: EMEA LCQ

A player's impact is often difficult to measure in VALORANT. There is an abundance of stats available to understand how a player performed such as ACS or ADR, but none do a great job of showing simple impact. They tend to be duelist favoured and very rarely tell the full story of how much impact a player has had across the course of a game.

 

Using data from the EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, I decided to calculate KAST percentage for every player. Then using this KAST percent as a measure of impact, I calculated how this impact is spread amongst a team with a statistic I called the Impact Distribution coefficient. From this, we can examine how this distribution of impact affect team performance as well as other interesting hypotheses.
