A guide on how to use Sage Walls on Bind, as well as other tips and tricks to take the maximum advantage of Sage ability.

Sage is a very strong and easy to use Sentinel, despite Bind not being the best map for the Agent, at least if you look at its pick rate in the competitive scene, you can still find a lot of value by playing Sage in Bind especially because of her wall and I will tell you why.

The wall and the multiple ways it can be used on attack

Sage wall is one of her best abilities, when placed it allows you to block vision and fire, it can also help you take control of a specific part of the map in an easier way, as well as forcing your enemies to change their approach when attacking.

One of the many ways you can use Sage wall on Bind is the many boosts that like in attack as in defense can help you gain an advantage over your enemies.

The first one is a boost on A short, where it allows you to see into the window and a little of lamps showing only your head, you can also opt to the jump on the box,  while this will give a great view of the site you will be completely open to the enemy.

This is a great way to get info of where the enemies are in the bomb site and how many they are, however, I would recommend you don't use this wall that much since there are much better and more useful walls, also if you use it let one of your teammates get busted like a duelist for example, since your "job" is to be the healer of the team/ provide support and not the entry killer.

Another wall in A site that is very useful and is used a lot is the "truck wall", this wall allows your teammates to plant with more safety since they are not exposed to the back on the site and are protected, to a certain degree, to the people who are on the back of the site, however, you have to make sure heaven is smoked or there is no one there because is the only location where people can see you from.

This one is one of my favorites and it also comes with a great strategy you can use especially in the pistol rounds, it is called the "bathroom wall" or has I like to call it the "free pistol round wall.

As mentioned in the name this wall is used in bathrooms when you are on the attacking side, with this wall you have a safe area to plant the spike, the enemy vision is blocked on both heaven and the rest of the site and you only have to check the right side when entering to see if there isn't an enemy playing close to the exit of the bathroom.

The wall is especially strong in pistols since the enemies take too long to break it with a pistol which means the wall will be hardened and it will give you time to plant and assume your post plant positions.

The defensive walls

Now talking about defense, you also have a lot of great walls that will help you slow your enemy's rushes, take control of certain areas of the map and overall slow down the pace of the game.

The first one is the "short wall boost", this wall allows you or your teammates to play a little more aggressive on short, you can shoot the opponents that come from either side of short and you can also fall back to the safety or your wall, making it great to get a pick, fall of the wall and relocate.

You can also use this wall just to slow your enemies advance into short, this will force them to either break the wall, which takes some time, and also gives information to your team that they are maybe planing a hit in the bombsite A, allowing your teammates to rotate quickly if needed, or forcing them to play o the other side of the map, in my opinion, this wall is probably the best defensive wall in the A bomb site.

Another good wall in the A bombsite is the "U Hall wall boost", this wall completely closes the entry to lamps, and it also allows you to check short for a safe position, you can get one or two quick kills from short and then fall behind the protection of the wall, however, you have to be careful with bathrooms since this position leaves you completely open and venerable to opponents who push through bathrooms into the site.

Now that we talked about the best walls in the A bombsite it's time to do the same but for the other bomb site.

On bombsite B you also encounter a lot of walls that can give both you and you're team an advantage over your adversaries.

The first one is the "Port wall spot" you can use it to close one of the entire to the bomb site and assume an advantageous position since you can jump on the creates close to the port, playing from a position that is not very common especially from a Sage and will surely catch some enemies off guard.

Another good wall is the "Long B Wall", this one allows you to gain some control over long, the wall is also very good since not only does it close long to the enemies it also allows you to get control of the orb, which means you will have your ultimate quicker than normal, and for a Sage that is massive due to how strong and useful to the team her ultimate is.

I hope these tips will be useful for your games, and if you want a more detailed information you can check our How to play Sage guide.
